  • Visitor Centre offers a wheelchair borrowing service
  • Disabled parking available outside Visitor Centre and Hotel
  • New Millennium Experience Ride has one specially adapted car to accept most wheelchairs (may not be suitable for large motorised chairs) and 5 cars with induction loop system
  • Robert Owens School is fully accessible to wheelchair users and visitors with mobility problems, with lift to all levels, ground level entrance, and induction loop system available in the theatre
  • Wheelchair access available into Robert Owens House, 1820s/1930s Stores (not suitable for large motorised wheelchairs), The Millworkers House(two low steps into building). Roll-a-Ramp is available for access to Millworkers House and Village Store.
  • Portable induction loop system available for guided tours
  • Disabled toilets available in Robert Owens School, Mill Pantry and Hotel
  • Essential carers accompanying wheelchair visitors receive a complimentary pass
  • Hotel has 5 fully equipped rooms for guests with mobility difficulties, and two lifts which go to all floors
